Title: Apple-Pecan Cheesecake

1cGraham cracker crumbs
1/2cPecans, finely chopped
1/2tsCinnamon
3tbSugar
1/4cButter, melted
20ozCream cheese
1/2cSugar
2 Eggs
1/2tsVanilla
3cGranny Smith apples
1/3cSugar
1/2tsCinnamon
1/4cPecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350F.

For the crust: Stir together the graham cracker crumbs, finely chopped pecans, 3 T sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and butter; press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes.

For the filling: Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar in a large mixing bowl at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add vanilla, blend well. Pour over crust.

For the topping: Peel, core and thinly slice tart apples. Combine with 1/3 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Spoon apple mixture over cream cheese layer and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
